Not exactly.

A woman who gets a breast implant doesn't believe she's a big breasted woman in a small breasted woman's body. She knows what she is and wants to use medicine to look more like something she knows she's not.

If all trans people were like Blair White, who basically says, "I'm a man and will never know what it's like to be a woman. I have had hormone therapy to change secondary sex characteristics so that I can pass as a woman because I wish i were a woman. But I will never be one," then I would be more 'live and let live' like you described.

But that's not what's happening.

What's happening is that not only are people who are very likely mentally ill
being indulged in their hallucinations, but the left is attempting to force everyone else to pretend along with them. It's already happened in Canada and Europe.

It's not o.k. to force people to say or agree with anything, and the fact that in this case the thing that is being forced is a lie makes it that much more dangerous a precedent.

It's already doing great harm to children. Because this is being forced to the degree that it already is, health care workers are not free to dissent, and children are being preyed upon and parents manipulated by the narrative into permanently mutilating their children and signing them up for likely strokes, heart attacks, cancers, and other health risks from massive hormone therapy.

In fifteen years or so the medical backlash from this is going to be immense.

How long before you can't push back on the idea that all white people are oppressors who deserve violence?

How long before it's illegal to voice your opinion to your wife or girlfriend about aborting your child?
