Luka has led his team to WCF just as many times as Jim Harden now

At only 25 wow.
His career trajectory at this point will be far greater than Jim's.

Luka is a better passer, rebounder, and defender than Harden ever was. If you look at only career statistics, not accomplishments etc. Luka has the greatest per game stat line of all time.
28.7 Points, 8.7 Rebounds, 8.3 assists.
That’s the greatest per game stat line of all time in the NBA.

Luka has ruined us….now when he “only” scores 29 points and has 10 rebounds and 10 assists, we wonder what’s wrong with him. He is a victim of his own success. His astounding numbers have spoiled the fans, because now the bar is set at a ridiculous height….

Kyrie has been balling too.
Good to see him back and not flat earthing the media

Each has gone twice more than the entire Pels franchise

Luka is 25 and already has 4 1st team all-nba selections under his belt and should soon have his 5th one this season - which would give him 5 in his first 6 seasons.
No player in the last 50 plus seasons has had a start like this to his career. None. Not even Michael. And I bring up MJ because that’s the historical level he’s playing at. Before you come at me with the rings argument, I will remind you that Jordan didn’t win his first championship until he was 28.
In 5 years, all this nonsense about LeBron being in the GOAT debate will be forgotten by people with IQs north of room temperature. The real debate will be Jordan and Luka.

Luka’s career numbers speak for themselves. Currently 28.7, 8.7, 8.3.
Lebron’s career averages are 27.1, 7.5, 7.4.
Luka needs to start playing more than 70 games a year to win a few MVPs and add a couple of rings, but Luka’s career is off to an incredible start.
He should also consider moving to an eastern conference team.

Needs to pull a Lebron and go to a better franchise in the east. Harden will be just a blip in basketball history once it’s all said and done.

Luka is 25 and already in bad shape. What makes you think he has more than 5 more healthy years?
Do you think he is going to get healthier and in better physical fitness in his 30s?

Luka is the epitome of a generational player.

On/Off metrics....Kinda basketball WAR Jokic was #1 by a huge margin.
Luka was #26
Harden was #29
For Win shares Jokic has led the league 4 years in a row.
But Harden also led the league 4 years in a row....only LeBron has more with 5.

Luka went for 29/10/10 in a playoff close out game and people are completely unimpressed and ho-hum about it. That tells you all you need to know about him and how amazing he is.
If he retired today he’d have the greatest all around career stat line in league history. No player has ever averaged more combined points/assists/rebounds over a career, or through their first six seasons.

Assuming Denver holds on, we are in for a real treat of prime Jokic vs prime Doncic in a playoff series, each with comparable supporting casts.
Was a shame we never got prime Kobe vs prime lebron in the playoffs, or prime Durant vs prime lebron when the respective rosters were relatively balanced.
