Nothing can stop what SCOTUS has green lit.
What will you do when you see this?
How many will actually READ tCTH article above: before they comment or call it nuts?
To those that say it is nuts. Speak about an item in your home and see if you see it in ads suddenly. Tell me how one gets taxed selling on facebook marketplace over $600. Soon they will be able to SEE your bank acct in real time.

let's say a multi million dollar small business that sold hunter safety courses, sporting goods, camping gear, and gulp guns got a letter from PNC bank debanking them because they sold guns.
do you think this is right? do you think the govt controls BOA, Citi, from bailouts?
what do you think the exchange rate will be from gold to digital currency? or from regular current currency to gold?
will we all be saved and paid in gold with unicorns pooping skittles? will we be paid back for all the money the govt spent on $900 hammers and millions to study drunk Chynah hookers?

I believe in capitalism and the free market, so I think it's legal and part of how a market among voluntary participants works. I'm not a Lefty looking to regulation over private-party transactions.
But what does that have to do with the looney CTH article you posted?

That's going to depend on a lot of factors, from location, to provider, to the micro/macro market, government regulation, etc.

People that don't understand technology complaining about digital currency by highlighting things that the system currently does will not be effective in stopping federal digital currencies.

I just need to add one thing about the case Conspiracy Theory House didn't focus on in their newest CT:
It was also a 7-2 ruling.

Oh yeah. It's coming. Along with it will be restrictions on all crypto currency. Watch....
It won't be illegal to have crypto other than US CBDC but we won't be allowed to purchase other forms of Crypto currency using US CBDC nor be able to convert other forms of Crypto to US CBDC.
Also, along with it.... we will be required to have a digital ID. Big Brother will have its hands squarely around our throats.

The government will be able to control what and how much money is spent on anything.
A gas shortage? Nobody is allowed to spend more than a predetermined amount of money on gas. The government will have complete control of that.

I fully understand the dangers of CBDC and am completely against it. I was pointing out the fact that the government doesn't just have access to your bank account records, especially not live access. They have to subpoena them, despite what SFP was saying.
The only thing they can do is garnish wages.
