The whole numbered ordering system was such a weird concept at first

It’s pretty useful when ordering in a place that you don’t speak the language, like south Texas.

It seems like $5 bucks was more than enough for most fast food meals in the 90’s. $0.99/gallon gas too

$.65 tacos at the bell too.

You couldn't eat $5 worth of Taco Bell in say 1994 unless you were really hungry.

Rotolos calzones were $3.99 on Wednesdays in college. A Canes box was $5

I'd be fat as hell now if I ate like I did back then though.

I remember "69, 79, 89" depending on if you wanted cheese and/or sour cream. We were living the dream.

Burger King had 99 cent whoppers on occasions when I was in high school(93-97). We racked up on those things.

McDonald's was the only fast food option for me within 5 miles of my house in high school, so I ate there a lot. No, I wasn't fat at all.

I wasn’t either when I ate it several times a week. I eat it maybe 10 times a year now and I’m fat. Make it make sense.

Wendy’s is better

Wendy's used to be great. It is shite now. Culver's is everything Wendy's once was, plus frozen custard and the best fast food onion rings.

I've got a bit of a dad bod, but I watch what I eat somewhat. When I ate McDonald's 3 days per week, I was playing football, baseball, weight lifting etc, all on a 15-16 yr old metabolism.

Now I sit at a desk all day hammering out TPS reports

The "only" on each one is very appropriate now
