Florida. No matter what you do 50/50 period.

My wife attempted suicide because of depression due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I got called and raced to the hospital. She was in ICU. I arrived, a family friend and a Sheriff's Deputy were waiting for me. She looked me dead in the eyes and stated "I may have failed taking my life,I will not fail taking yours." Sheriff's Deputy replied "That's all I needed." She was Baker Acted
They put her in the Psych Ward for a week. ..... When she came out we started the divorce. My Attorney was her Attorney. Why have two in Florida ....Walt said "You know the drill 50/50. She gets half the house.."I took out a second and paid her off ....... .

Look, I don't know you and I have never had any reason to contact a divorce lawyer.

But, you were an idiot to not have your own attorney. A shared attorney is only looking for a quick resolution and will not likely have your best interest in mind. In that situation, you are not getting the best legal advice for you. It may not have made any difference, but if it could have, then you lost that chance.

JMHO.
