I know everyone has said it, but you need to be at the lawyers waiting on them to unlock the doors on Monday.
You mentioned Baker Act, so you must live in Florida. The Baker act process is pretty easy and it’s taken very seriously. Once you talk to the lawyer you should go through with it. That buys you a couple of days to figure out what the hell is going on. It also gives you a defense if suddenly tries to make up shite in the future that you are threatening her.
You need to save all the messages back and forth. Especially the stuff about her using the money to pay the mutual bills. She could have just told you it was none of your business what she was using it on since it’s a joint account. She she specifically said it was for the marital bills you can show that they weren’t actually paid and can establish a pattern of her lying that may help you in the future.
Good luck.

If she is legit mentally ill, you need to circle the wagons and protect your kids and your finances. After that’s all secure then you can address her mental issues. Whether it’s the result of a true illness, or garden variety whore bitchness, her current actions could potentially ruin your family.

I've seen this money behavior. It is drugs for self medicating. Drug screen is needed

I’ve talked to the person in the sheriff’s department who oversees Baker Act-
It is a very simple process - except she does get handcuffed and i probably have to be present and honestly/ that shite seems REALLY hard to do …i keep hoping that she decides to get therapy on her own and that her therapist sees the odd behavior and paranoia etc and they recommend medicine to help the imbalance
When she found out that i immediately transferred my paycheck to the new account- she had strong opinions that i needed to return the money until we can sit down and discuss our finances/ i said no but yes we needed to have a good conversation but that nothing will change back until she gets therapy .

First off, I am saddened to hear of this on going struggle. May first thought is always the safety and mental stability of the children. Episodes involving combative parenting is scarring. Are you sure that the youngest is safe? Without hearing her side, I am not going to accept what you say is happening. Pray and seek counseling. Try to not fight in front of your children..

A therapist told me that given her age and our social economic status- most likely pills or alcohol…. I can easily see alcohol but with this new behavior of withdrawing money (again this started 5/06) …that money has to be going somewhere

You aren’t doing anything illegal but your wife seems to be cheating on you IMO.

If she makes an account would y’all both agree to tell your side and let us come up with a solution?

Florida. No matter what you do 50/50 period.
My wife attempted suicide because of depression due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I got called and raced to the hospital. She was in ICU. I arrived, a family friend and a Sheriff's Deputy were waiting for me. She looked me dead in the eyes and stated "I may have failed taking my life,I will not fail taking yours." Sheriff's Deputy replied "That's all I needed." She was Baker Acted
They put her in the Psych Ward for a week. ..... When she came out we started the divorce. My Attorney was her Attorney. Why have two in Florida ....Walt said "You know the drill 50/50. She gets half the house.."I took out a second and paid her off ....... .

Either this is an elaborate troll or you are one of the most gullible people there is. Why even bring this here. There is something majorly off. You won’t find your answer here. Who in the ever loving frick let’s their spouse bring their youngest child to live with them in a hotel?!

She’s seeing someone else and he’s scamming the crap out of her and getting her to give him money. You don’t withdraw cash out of an ATM to pay bills, if y’all have a joint account. Nobody pays their bills with cash. She could also be saving the cash somewhere else for when she pulls the plug. Seek out a divorce attorney asap so he can file for divorce first and seek a temporary order that gives you use of the home since she’s never there and temporary custody of the kids. Put a GPS tracker on her car and see if you can catch her with said boyfriend. Video it. Last but not least record EVERYTHING you all say, text or email one another. I’m really sorry for you and your kids, bro :(

Hotels don't even want to accept debit cards. You need a credit card. I don't think any reputable hotel is taking cash.
