I'm sure they intend to assess Jump's arm Tuesday morning and if they feel he's good to go on short rest they'll hope for around 70 pitches from him. If his arm isn't ready then I'd expect Herring. If we win I think we will throw out someone like Hurd or Coleman vs Kentucky and pitch Holman in the next game

These guys arms aren't about to fall off after pitching 83 pitches 5 days ago. I promise you Jump has pitched on 4 days rest in high school.

Today will be treated like a normal game, none of this "pitch count" stuff. He will pitch as he would any normal SEC start. We actually caught a break witht the rain delay last Thursday so that it limited his pitch count to 83. That makes him good to go today.

Paul Skenes pitched 8 innings in the best pitched game in CWS history last summer on 4 days rest.
