Does Georgia winning on Tuesday mean anything to them?

Curious what Georgia’s game plan is in the opening game of the SEC tournament against LSU.

They’re on that line between hosting a super or just hosting regional so I think they potentially have something to play for. That Florida series didn’t help them.

They are in between a super and regional host right now so it's not like they're gonna lay down and take it from LSU

I’m glad we get to play them. Let’s beat WJ and his slugger and stamp our invitation to a regional.

Is this a serious question?

It's perverse to think any competitive sports team would not try to win the game; esp in the case of college baseball's #1 conference whereby the likely entries into the NCAA tourney field are actively jockeying for seeding positions.

Every win in tournament means something.

Observation based on discussions past: sometimes it matters and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it matters a lot and sometimes just a little.

Weirdness of college baseball and conference tournaments and such.

They’re fighting for a national top 8 seed so yes
