Had a flat once on 190 between gray and Houma around 8 one night.

Changed my flat but truck wouldn’t start from my flashers being on (dead battery).

Had all 3 of my kids and was wondering what I was gonna do when a priest pulled over and I was able to jump my truck and go home.

I often wonder if the only reason he stopped was because my kids were standing in the back of my truck.

If I had been alone I’d have been walking to town and probably been hit lots of speeders on that stretch of roadway and mostly bridges.

I typed that to say I’m very hesitant to stop and help someone stranded unless they have small children
