will never understand why people pay for the big companies when you can get on their network for 1/4 the cost with something like mint mobile/ visible or spectrum mobile

I literally pay $30 a month for 2 phones with unlimited data on spectrum mobile and run off Verizon towers

The only downside to this (especially if you live in concentrated metro areas or somewhere like South Louisiana or Gulf Coast) is you're the first group that gets deprioritized on the network. So if there's heavy traffic on the tower you're getting booted for the premium customers. It was especially bad during Ida in New Orleans.

True, and this makes sense, as higher generating revenue customers should be top priority. However, as a Visible user for the last 3 years, I believe the trade-off of paying $25.00 per month with unlimited everything, including a hotspot, and no contract, far outweighs the con of being deprioritized during heavy congestion, something which I have rarely noticed.
