That just isn’t true. There are good candidates out there. The problem is loudmouth grifters like Kari Lake saw an opportunity and jumped. Republicans weren’t acting behalf of their voters. There was a void there to fill. Then people like Kari Lake came in and said all the right things and people ignored the fact that they were saying the opposite thing five minutes prior.

If Kari Lake is the best republicans can offer, stick a fork in the party. They are dead forever

Doug Ducey would beat Gallego by 10 pts without breaking a sweat but won't run because Trump told him not to – promising retribution for Ducey not going scorched earth about 2020. Major mistake on Trump's part and another example of how Trump has been a shitty leader of the Republican party.

The supposed leftward lurch of Arizona is way overplayed. Registered Dems make up less than 30% of the AZ electorate. The advantage in numbers for Republicans has nearly doubled since 2010.

It’s true that Kari Lake is a grifter and a suspiciously recent convert to conservatism, but her biggest problem is she's f'n retarded. She thinks, says and does stupid shite on the regular. The republican nominee for AZ governor in 2022 had a f'n layup and she figured out how to yip it.
