Is there a second in line ( like our VP). How does it work in Iran?
Doesn't really matter. The Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the real ruler of the country. Their government carries out his commands. Doesn't matter who their president is.
This is why nothing will really change with the death of Raisi, you cannot make real change until the head of the snake is chopped off.

Could it make it worse? Could they put someone in…… more jihady?

many of the "old guard"
this guy was to replace the 85 year old ruler,

"We can get you" is always a strong message. But if it was Israel I'm not quite following their game yet. It seems to me that letting them wonder and letting their imaginations run wild with inside job suspicions is better than claiming it. Of course if they didn't do it, claiming it is a whole different ballgame. What was the Egyptian group that kept claiming credit for industrial accidents like. Bhopal, India and others? That's actually a great business model for terrorism. Wait for shite to happen and claim you did it.

Hopefully his head went through his a-hole and it hurt very badly.

Has John Kerry sent his condolences, yet? Too bad that traitorous POS wasn't on the helo with him.

Pretty irresponsible to be travelling by helicopter on foggy days. Need to be smarter than that

I have no idea why anyone would decide to fly in a helicopter, low level, in dense fog.
Extraordinarily poor decision making. Pilot undoubtedly feeling immense pressure to make it happen.

This is apparently a remote area of the country.
Given who was onboard, this sounds like the various plane cranes in Alaska that killed Sen Ted Stevens and Rep Hale Boggs about 50 years apart.
