Vandy’s RPI is only four spots better than ours. A 3-2 run against Top 5 RPI opposition could push us past them. Georgia and Kentucky are beatable. (We have a better team ERA than both of them: LINK) Arky probably isn’t. But if we make it to Friday everyone is down to their third or fourth starter and the hotter bats will prevail. And teams looking to make deep runs in the NCAA tourney will be wanting to get home and rest up, opening the door for those still fighting to get in. This could set up nicely for a deep run!
