Not much ROI, if they only had a capable AD.

LSU Athletics is already running a deficit. Unless one of the big boys steps up, LSU is broke. But at least Woodward is a great AD in other areas.

Wretched Excess Ads are perfectly "Fine and Acceptable" to all the Program Cheerleaders; looks like total shite but they're A OK with it.......

The facilities in totality have always been lacking from fan perspective. Skips cheap arse didn’t have the foresight to realize the possibilities down the road.

The players would rather see that money in the NIL fund.

The founder of Buc-ee's is a big donor to A&M, so next time you stop by one of them, A&M thanks you!

It’s not just one. AM has more money and donor possibility than just about anyone. LSU is just not on that level of donor capability.

They may have huge donors and oil $$ reserves but all their sports in total lack national titles i.e. look at their football program. Going nowhere fast

It’s needed at that stadium. That place feels like a high school field with an upper deck. Sight lines are awful, if you’re stilling on the 3rd base side there is a portion of left field obstructed by the stupid berm they put in, and vice-versa on the 1st base side. And not to mention they covered up most of their berm with temporary grandstands so it looks like a gallery at a PGA tournament.

The constant whining about ads on the outfield walls must come from people who have never really watched baseball.

Watch home games of the Houston Astros or Atlanta Braves if you want to really see ads. If you go to Yankee Stadium, you'll see ads plastered on everything that doesn't move.

The advertisements on the walls are as old as the game itself.

That’s insane putting that much money into a sport that doesn’t make a lot of money.

Don’t disagree, but the thread is about spending money and LSU just isn’t on the aTm level when it comes to possible private donor sources.

reportedly they sell out and there has been an outcry to add seating to Blue Bell Park. So they are just meeting demand and improving their fan experience

This is true. Which makes it even more remarkable that idiots on this forum whine about LSU getting a new arena, paid for with private funds.
