The Southern game was their World Series. You can’t be serious to even bring that one up. Yes we did lose several other games that we shouldn’t have but I still stand by us being a top 25 team.

Nah, we're not. We're definitely a top 64 team, but I realize that's not how they are selected.

What would you like your head coach say?

“Well I know we haven’t won as many games last year but we really tried the last few weeks”

That a midweek game against a HS team from north Batin Rudge holds any stock in someone’s mind in is comical.

My baw, you're the one who brought up a win over Texas in February... that holds just about as much weight now as a midweek loss to Southern.

Top 15? Yes. Elite? No

Idk he could say a lot of things. He’s obviously trying to pitch why this team should make the tournament. But saying that they are a top 10-15 team in the country and it’s not even debatable sounds dumb.

Charlie Hannagrif doesn’t believe that LSU deserves a regional bid.

Would love to know his thoughts on how many SEC teams should get in. Because basically going off his criteria the SEC is not very good and should only get in about 6 teams

No, way too inconsistent but I do believe this is a top 25 team that probably finishes top 5 in any other conference this year.

I don't think they're a top 15 team

But they'd be top 10 in teams I wouldn't want in the same regional.

LSU is extremely dangerous because of the 1-2 they have.

I don't think anyone is doing that. He should 100% be saying that right now.

We're not a top 15 team in the country though... but neither was Ole Miss two years ago. It's possible to catch lightning in a bottle if Jump and Holman do what Elliott and DeLuccia did for Ole Miss.

No they aren’t. This isn’t the 2022 team that could mash and couldn’t pitch. This team doesn’t really do either.

My guy. There’s no way a loss to Southern holds as much weight as a win against Texas. These don’t negate each other.
