I’ve heard Trump say at least twice now that reason the stock market is rising is because he’s leading in the polls. Is Trump just blowing smoke?

Yes, he is. The market is rising because of inflation. Are stocks more expensive? Yes, but so is all the stuff we have to buy to live. If you’re up 25 to 30 percent in the market since 2021, you’re really flat.
