Thank you Delta for the options to book a flight for $928

We’re a couple years away from not being able to step on plane for less than $1000.

I wish I was going to the game but H2O Jr's arrival in a few weeks has me grounded.

I’m in the same boat - just had my 1st at the end of March. Congrats to your family!

Thanks!

Mrs. ATX is a Longhorn so his first game may be something here in Austin. We'll get to BTR for at least one game this year, just haven't determined which one yet.

I just checked Southwest direct flights for NOLA to Vegas. Just under $1500 right now because they are only selling the highest tier of their ticket price for those nonstop flights. Other flight times are about $100 cheaper each way.

Prices were definitely not this bad a few weeks ago but they’re pretty awful right now.

I hope y’all got some cash for snacks so you can loaded before your Spirit Airlines flight.

I booked Delta out of Lafayette 3 months ago for $476. Have to fly to Atlanta though which makes it a long flight.

I’m selfishly hoping that they don’t schedule a football game here in Austin for at least a few years. I’m definitely going to want to take my son to a few LSU games, and I think being 3 or 4 would be a good time to get him started.

Glad UT joined the SEC just so the Tigers will be in Austin more often. He might still grow up a Longhorn fan though , we’ll see

It's a double win for us in Austin since the A&M game moves off of thanksgiving for LSU. Much easier to get to College Station on a random weekend in October.

I’ve done that game twice - in 2016 (when it was on Thanksgiving day) and regrettably, 2022. You make a good point though.

I’m good on Aggieland for a few years

I've only been with Aggie friends when they were playing someone other than LSU. Was in the stadium the year they almost beat Alabama (2018-ish).

May try and go this year depending on kickoff time. Will need to be a day trip with the kiddo.

I think I'd rather drive with no ac all the way to Vegas than fly spirit.
