Now, if Ukraine falls and Russia doesn't stop there, yeah, then we'll have no choice. There will be boots on the ground then no matter who is POTUS. Biden, Trump, or anybody else.

That's why the adults have been continuing to send aid to Ukraine while all of you populist coward moron children have been howling about it because you've been taught to by Huckster Carlson.

It has nothing to do with "fighting for Ukraine." It has to do with not having to send Americans to fight. It IS America First. But you have to be a step or two up from a rank simpleton to be able to understand that, I suppose.

How would a draft even work in 2024 America?

These days, the services cant make their recruitment numbers anymore. Gen z isn't interested in a military career.

So say they start the draft to force them to sign up. It used to rely on patriotism and social peer pressure to get kids into it. No one is patriotic about this administration. Neither the left or the right or the middle would support a draft.

Unlike in previous decades, the Archie Bunker types wont rat out the draft dodgers. Instead, they would help them dodge the draft these days.

In fact, I could see the Feds being forced to go door to door to round up kids to fight. And we all know what would happen in that situation. Anarchy and societal collapse.

The only way a draft would work is if they made a deal with the illegals. Citizenship in exchange for military service.

I think I just answered my own question.
