e sat behind the dugout. He just sat and watched. Didn't jump up with every pitch. Didn't holler and scream. He simply sat there and watched, and didn't seem especially interested. He doesn't care unless he can be on television. He's a trained mascot, just like an organ grinder's monkey. The people who actually believe he's a fan are incredibly naive.

I don’t know if he still does, but at one time he had a website where he billed himself as the “super fan” who would come cheer for your team for a fee. He was trying to sell merchandise, etc. I suppose general managers and athletic directors didn’t bite because as far as I know, that fell flat. But yeah, he really thought he was going to parlay that attention he got from ESPN a few years ago into a big money making gig.

I thought Woodward had all he needed to ban him in the loss to the Cajuns in the regional last year when he pulled that stunt of jumping on top of the railing, then climbing up the fence behind the plate. He was desperate to “bring back the magic.” But yes, people are naive if they think it’s about being an “LSU fan.” He’d be anybody’s dog that would hunt with him.
