With all the years prior to 2009 all substantially cooler (with the lone year of 1980 finishing in a statistical tie for 4th place with 2009).
Yeah, you don't think all that concrete around one of the larger airports in the nation had anything to do with it?

Wha...you can't be serious. The Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico are poised to become vast deepwater hottubs this summer-- temps in September could hover in the mid-90s, furnishing an open-air laboratory for manufacturing monster cyclones.
This is how Mother Nature takes hot water and transfers that heat into the upper atmosphere leaving a cooler environment behind. Self regulation.

how the hell do you remember to breathe
Maybe because I actually use the cerebral cortex and higher levels of the brain for critical thinking, and leave breathing as the autonomic function it was intended to be.

Nah, that can't be it.

If you keep on, tarzana, you're going to convince AwgustaDawg that every Summer of his life has been a heatwave. He's another big thinker that was convinced by the media last Summer that he was in the midst of a heatwave, despite the indisputable fact that every single Summer month in Augusta, GA was below Normal for the high temperature.

These comparisons are always to a period that’s literally called the Little Ice Ages that ended about 150 years ago. In all likelihood Louisiana was probably hotter in the Medieval Warm Period than it is in present times. It’s just that the Native Americans in Louisiana hundreds of years ago weren’t exactly taking the temperature every day.

So, no forecasts or predictions?
This reads like more fear pr0n from the climate activists

For good reason. In Louisiana and Texas, each meteorological summer (June-August), beginning with the year 2009 has had temps 3°-8°F above historic averages, with below normal average rainfall other than during tropical storm/hurricane events. The last two summers in particular were brutally hot and rainless, and the beat goes on.
So they’re taking a simple linear extrapolation.
Thanks for helping me out.

They were too busy raping, plundering, and murdering each other.

I am still not willing to pay more money for cars, AC’s, gas, stoves, refrigerators, flying, electricity, I don’t want to convert our energy supply to solar or put those stupid solar panels on my house. These climate nazis can kiss my butt.

I mean, how many times have they been caught lying, and changing data in order to support the “climate crisis” narrative?

I don't mind the heat. The lack of rain really sucked though.
