Coleman had a curious career. He'd been in H'wood for a decade (he's in a B&W Fugitive) and had done guest shots on virtually every cop show you can name before he finally started getting offered comedy parts well into his '40s.

NSFW Language .....NSFW Language .....NSFW Language

Since I was 22 years old, I've been waiting to use this line when somebody called me a freak. Maybe it'll happen for me soon.I'm sure it would be a hit in a few years when I'm in an old folks home.

RIP Jack Flak

Count me in the ranks of folks who would've sworn he died decades ago. Before today, I will uldve told you I recall it being a brain issue (cancer/aneurysm/stroke) around 1994.

these obit threads are always interesting; I learn who knows these people only for stuff I've never seen, or sometimes never ever heard of.

Have to admit I did not recognize him at all while I saw him in plenty of movies back in the 80s.

To be sure, his role in 9 to 5 is absolutely his most iconic, but I watched Cloak & Dagger every time it came on HBO/Showtime, in 1985. As a 10 year old boy who was all in on video games and GI Joe at the time that was MY JAM.
