But, reminding people of the objective moral standards that made this nation the greatest nation in the history of the world is a good thing- and the most sensible place to start. America is “one nation, under God.” We’re free to worship Him in our own way, and we’re free to abstain altogether. But the more that choose the latter, the worse things will get.
It is probably the fault of religious nut jobs who want to ignore the parts of the Constitution they don't like that we have the internal fractures we have today.
Our country was founded by people who EXPLICITLY wanted to keep religion out of government.
