We are giving players some huge NIL deals, dont be fooled by a short clip you heard. He was simply saying in terms of the portal we are not getting into a large bidding war for a mid-level non-impact player like a Damonic Williams. The same thing just happened with Wesley Walker who visited, he was demanding more NIL than anyone on our defense currently gets. We laughed and said have fun elsewhere.

We arent getting into unnecessary bidding wars is what Kelly is saying. Make no mistake, the NIL deals they've negotiated with guys like Moore and Underwood are very large. You HAVE to do that to attract guys like that to begin with because if you dont, a handful of other schools easily will. You spend the money on guys who are very good here and guys who are elite, not on guys like Damonic Williams and Wesley Walker.
