No, Darlington specifically says he saw ‘Sheffler pulling around us’. He never says he saw the attempted stop.
Play this out in your head… if there’s a massive bus in the middle of the road that everyone is stuck behind, and if Scottie pulls around that bus, how are the people stuck behind the bus going to see around it to witness the interaction with the officer?
Darlington confirmed that he saw it was Scottie’s car. But he never says he saw the initial interaction with the officer. He couldn’t, because they were on the other side of the bus when this happened.
And all of that aside, once again, he started the ESPN broadcast at 11:00 with an updated description of the interaction and he dropped the ‘attached’ language, opting instead to say the officer grabbed the vehicle. I don’t know why you’re so dead set on pretending otherwise.
