This is my thing. If they had just detained him and asked a few questions, each side explain who they are and what happened, then he gets to the course 30 minutes late with no national stories. Taking him to the station doesn’t seem to make sense in this situation.

Honestly thought that's how it would've ended. LMPD is not known for making the best decisions though.

What a cluster. Dumbass cop. Maybe if the LMPD did their job, a pedestrian doesn’t get killed and traffics doesn’t get backed up.
