You don’t have to be a celebrity worshipper to see his position here. Others went past, he’s probably used to driving past closed roads in tournaments, and the whole thing happened quickly in the dark in front of the venue.

Louisville should be working on a joint press statement detailing all the confusion and with both sides giving modest apologies to one another.

Yeah, just a big misunderstanding. Shocked they actually took him in to the station, but sounds like he was in and out in no time. Hopefully they gave him a police escort back to the club.

That would have been the outcome had discretion been used.. But the doubling down, and reaching for "second degree assault" and then posting the mug shot.... Kind of threw that "modest apologies to one another" opportunity out the window. .
