So much drivel in your post.

1. Texas has been irrelevant in college football for the better part of 40 years. I know you won a championship with Young mainly because Reggie Bush had a brain fart and tried an ill advised lateral.

2. A football player isn’t attending a college for education. He’s attending to play football. LSU is a much better program than Texas is every metric - playing development, national relevance, and putting players in the league.

3. Alumni being rich has nothing to do with program success. See point #1.

4. Arch Manning has yet to play a meaningful snap. He may be the next coming or he could be a 3 star QB with a 5 star name. Arch is TBD.

does this impact Bryce Underwood at all?

That’s the real question.

Based off he and his father's interviews, along with him not visiting any schools except for LSU, I think you can safely assume that Underwood is unique in his commitment to LSU, Coach Sloan, and Coach Kelly.

LSU doesnt have any recruit that is more of a stone cold lock, not even Keylan Moses.

This will be the norm since LSU is basically advertising that we can’t pay players as much as other schools. Underwood will probably leave before it’s alls said and done

Go be an Alabama fan, little bitch. LSU isn't advertising anything of the sort, but I don't expect someone with the obvious limitations of abstract or critical thinking to understand what your Coach actually said.

Not surprised. Recruiting is an absolute joke. Verbal and even getting a player signed means nothing!

The saddest part is this has absolutely nothing to do with college. This is nothing more than free agency every day, every year.

How many times have you heard a recruit say anything academics being the reason they chose to attend a particular school?

They need to form their own league and call it NFL-B because calling it college football is a complete lie!

That’s absolutely not what BK said. If you had any semblance of a brain you would understand he said they will place a premium of high school recruiting efforts I.E. if they going to pay money it’s going to be to incoming freshmen and then to keep them there, not one year rentals who aren’t even worth that kind of money and are holding desperate schools hostage with outrageous demands knowing that even though they are average at best talent they also know there isn’t anything better in the portal especially during the spring. Most of those guys know they either aren’t starting that coming fall or know the team does not have plans for them playing much hence they get little to no NIL at their current place of employment so they use desperation to get a pay day they don’t deserve.

Spoken like a true,Trump hating, TDS riddled Longhorn Commie. (as your posts prove)

BTW, your stats about LSU/UT and The former incredible city of Austin, now ruined by progressive insanity, and lack of safe policing, are ALL incorrect. Try again.
Horns way down. The SEC will open your biased eyes shortly.

If they commit and continue to take visits just get ready. Pretty much going to highest bidder if they committed and still taking visits.

Just saw OSU commit taking visit to Oregon commits this early now don't mean much for most.

Always watch what someone does instead of what they say.

He was releasing top 4's AFTER he committed, which means he wasn't actually committed at all

Moore is Collin Simmons all over again. I believe the kids initially wanted to go to LSU but Texas knew they could and would outbid LSU. The families of both kids wanted them at Texas and stayed in their ear about it. The families and handlers were ALWAYS in it for the money. They ultimately convinced the kids of this.

Texas is relevant RIGHT NOW. They were in the playoff this past season. They are also the #1 brand most valuable brand in college football, so I don't think you can make the case that LSU is more nationally relevant. Even though Texas has been in the national championship game twice in the last 18 years, that's not relevant because none of the coaches who were on those teams are around, just as none of the coaches who LSU had on their national championship teams are around. And if you think in that alumni being rich has nothing to do with relevance in college football, you're going to be proved wrong. NIL has changed everything.. The spending is out in the open. Longhorn players are driving Lambos, getting on the cover of EA Sports College Football etc ...

LSU better hope that Arch sucks because if he doesn't the national media coverage will be insane. Finally, in the 2 years that Kelly has been at LSU, LSU has had 12 players drafted, while Texas has had 16 players drafted. No current recruit cares about what Ed Orgeron did or what Les Miles did or what Tom Herman did or what Mack Brown did. That's ancient history to them. They want to know what the current staff ---- the one that they will play for ---- is doing.

The only time Texas is relevant is when it is being discussed “if they’re back.” Backing your way into the playoffs from an inferior conference and then getting blown out makes you relevant? Congrats on reaching Cincinnati-esq levels. Hang the banners!!

I do hate the break the news to you but LSU fans really couldn’t care less about Arch Manning. Bryce Underwood >>>> 3 star QB with a 5 star name.

Lots of bravado coming from Austin with no skins on the wall. You guys have been a footnote for the better of part of 40 years but please keep explaining how you’re back but this time you mean it.

1) Texas won its conference and its conference championship game handily. They didn't back into the playoffs.

2) Texas didn't get blown out in its bowl game. They had 500 yards of offense and were 15 yards from the winning TD when the final play of the game was an incomplete pass. They had a better season than LSU did by any measure.

3) I don't have to say the Longhorns are back and really mean it. They finished third in the final rankings. LSU lost by 14 at Alabama. Texas won by 10 at Alabama.

4) This is a Dakorian Moore thread. Whether or not LSU fans care about Arch Manning is irrelevant. Whether or not Dakorian Moore cares about Arch Manning IS relevant.

1. Texas won a poor conference and was once again beat by Oklahoma. Oklahoma is the only team in the Big 12 worth anything. And I’m not even going to bring up K-state’s stupidity. Beep beep beep into the playoffs.

2. The big stage was too bright for Texas but that’s what happens when you have been irrelevant for the better part of 40 years. The old saying act like you’ve been there before doesn’t apply to Texas because they haven’t been there before.

3. Congrats on your anomaly of a season. Texas is very Auburn like - the occasional good season and then the inevitable return to their historical irrelevancy. Even Alabama fans will tell you that last year’s squad was well below Alabama standards. You played three teams with a pulse and lost to 2 of them. Hang the banner!!

4. If Manning pans out he’ll only be in Austin one year. Texas will only have 12 games with Manning playing if he can win the starting position - he will opt out of the Poinsettia Bowl. He’ll go pro on name recognition alone - see Bronny James. Pretty short sighted on Moore’s part if he goes Texas because of Manning.

Who did Texas play to make this an impressive accomplishment?

You comparing Texas piss poor schedule to LSU's and then beating your chest about an unimpressive loss? Moral victories, I suppose.

Ahh, I see now. You're hanging the entire season on beating Alabama early before they had an offense. Gotcha.

I mean...Texas IS back.

And they will be back for the long term because college football has changed, its never been more about money, and very few places have more money than them

The same thing has been said over and over about A&M. Still waiting on them to do anything noteworthy but just we’ll be waiting on Texas to do anything noteworthy.
