If you want to go find an athlete that espoused atheistic sentiments, or leftist ideas in a very public manner, and was not consequently lampooned the way Butker is being, well then you have a double standard.
1) Promoting a nucleus, traditional family definitely = woman beating, rape and murder.
2) Look at the way Kaepernick was celebrated publicly. The owners and GMs and him being a shitty QB kept him out of the NFL. The MSM and morons acted like he was the 2nd coming of MLK and he was doing nothing but preaching divisive bullshite.

The only example that’s been presented here specifically was Ray Rice, who was both publicly criticized for his actions, indicted and had his career ended. Rice and Butker don’t belong in the same conversation from the perspective of both their actions, and the consequences of those actions.

Kaepernick was broadly criticized by the right wing media, and, as I’ve been told here, that media has a larger viewership than left leaning outlets, which one could argue makes them the MSM. It’s a much better comparison to Butker, and you guys are doing the same thing with Butker that the left did with Kaepernick. You’re really just the flip side of the reactionary coin.
