1) Promoting a nucleus, traditional family definitely = woman beating, rape and murder.

The only example that’s been presented here specifically was Ray Rice, who was both publicly criticized for his actions, indicted and had his career ended. Rice and Butker don’t belong in the same conversation from the perspective of both their actions, and the consequences of those actions.

2) Look at the way Kaepernick was celebrated publicly. The owners and GMs and him being a shitty QB kept him out of the NFL. The MSM and morons acted like he was the 2nd coming of MLK and he was doing nothing but preaching divisive bullshite.

Kaepernick was broadly criticized by the right wing media, and, as I’ve been told here, that media has a larger viewership than left leaning outlets, which one could argue makes them the MSM. It’s a much better comparison to Butker, and you guys are doing the same thing with Butker that the left did with Kaepernick. You’re really just the flip side of the reactionary coin.

A. I’m a straight, white male..
B. I don’t care what Butker said, whether I agree with him or not.
C. I’m not in favor of denying his right to say what he believes.
D. I’m not in favor of denying the rights of those that disagree with him to do so.
E. Kevin Sorbo obviously doesn’t understand the concept of double standards enough to actually present one.
F. Apparently many here share Sorbo’s deficiency.

More of you should make something like this your first statement instead of smartass comments and gotchas.

For the first time ever, I agree with this poster. Completely rational take.

Well one person broke the law and another person expressed their opinion and religious beliefs. The fact that you think similar responses to these two events supports your argument is comical.

See my previous post. They’re not remotely similar responses. They’re not remotely similar actions. They don’t belong in the same conversation.

Your argument is that nfl players that beat their wives catch hell. They do.

What did the KC kicker do to catch hell?

Nothing.

My argument is that the levels of hell and the actions are in no way comparable. The counters that Sorbo introduced broke laws, and received significant consequences.

Butker spoke his mind, and is being criticized by those that disagree with him. That’s free speech.

If you want to participate in the victimhood that promotes seeing Sorbo’s comment as valid, that’s fine, but my previous interactions with you lead me to believe you’re more rational than that.

So you equate saying Christ is king with assaulting women and stabbing people? That's pretty psychotic.

Gret avi, btw.

It is almost as bad as mean tweeting.

Libs are beyond ridiculous.

You can cut your kids genitals off and be praise but having an opinion that the nuclear family should be a priority is evil.... .gawd

I think you should read more of what I said.

With that said I think I’m going to head back over to a more logical forum of TD. You guys have fun being angry.

Funny how the NFL distanced itself, but the FNL fell in love with Jacob Blake, a black man who was attacking his "baby mama."

What a twisted morality.

Maybe you should consider what Sorbo posted. Even if we agree that their treatment is equal, the fact that he's getting any negativity at all is wrong.

Even when there is an offense, the treatment is not equal. Mike Vick came back and played after being jailed for animal torture. Ray Lewis is a network panel commentator, but Jon Gruden is banished from the NFL because he called a guy a fig in an email 15 years ago.

Yeah, go check out the more soy board. They might be more to your liking.

As an Auburn fan I want to apologize as there are a few fans that we do not except nor acknowledge. HVAC is known as an idiot and should be treated as such. I can speak for almost all AU fans and say we are sorry that we let our village idiot post but alas even idiots have the 1st amendment. I do wish we had the power to remove his AU avatar as it embarrasses us all.
