I've always heard the shroom hunting in cow shite stories, but I've never seen it in person. We lease a large portion of our 50 acres to a neighbor that runs cattle so I've got a 25 acre piece of land that is littered with cow shite, but no mushrooms to be found that fit the profile of the mushrooms I'm looking for out there. I've heard people talk about fungicides in cow feed or maybe it's on the field itself from modern spraying, and that's why field hunting in cow pastures isn't viable anymore. I don't care, it just sounds easier to grow your own at home.

But to stay ON TOPIC here, my apologies for hijacking the "non-magical mushroom supplements" thread, but these other mushrooms are very interesting as well. I've always like fungi for some reason, I think they bring us good things. The challenge is finding a quality source. I'd love to homebrew my own mud/wtr kind of coffee substitute for daily consumption that would provide energy, focus, anxiety control, all the basket of good effects we all crave from our substances but are too fricked up by modern life to find within ourselves without substances. Awww, frick me, I'm in a mood.
