I’d be down that that..
Ireland would all become LSU fans when they see how much we drink.

Ireland would be cool, but packing Wembley Stadium in London would be a bigger venue. Give the Brits a taste of LSU tail gaiting.

Can't wait to get there and beat the Irish in drunken debauchery in their own backyard!

I am going to disagree with you there. I went with my ex gf to Ireland when Nebraska played there a few years ago. They have packages available that will accommodate every budget. Plus the package includes hotel stay plus breakfast, transfer to and from the airport, tickets to the game, tickets to pep rally and pre game welcome party. Also guided tours and events. You can pay it monthly instead of all at once. We had plenty of time to do a lot of touring of Edinburgh and Dublin before the game. This is a fantastic trip for anyone who has the opportunity to go. I would much rather this type of trip and see a foreign country with plenty of history than going to say Las Vegas or Houston.

How many people on this site would end getting charged trying to hit some of the pudding packs in the video. LOL

Does this carpet bagger understand anything about this alumni and fan base? This isn’t notre dame. You think some plant baws are gonna charter a flight to Dublin? Be serious

I’d love it, but you better schedule a couple of patsies the next two weeks, because these kids are going to take a week to get back to normal.

There's a 6-hour time difference between Ireland and Louisiana, that would definitely affect things for the next week.

It is a week zero game, you get a week off. Would rather play this game than rent a win against a team that will have the stadium empty by half time.

They would have a bye week after playing this game. Has no one noticed that none of the team that have played in Ireland did not play the following week?

French don’t understand or give a shite about American football. England and Ireland do.

I don't necessarily disagree that going to Las Vegas or Houston isn't overly exciting. But if I'm traveling to Ireland (or really any foreign country), I don't really want to use any of my time there to experience something I can experience at home. Somewhat akin to traveling to a different city and trying to find the best "cajun" restaurant to eat jambalaya.

Screw Ireland (thats sarcasm for the board)...Lets go back to our roots and do it in France.
I actually agree with this

I understand what you are saying. I have done this type of trip. We were able to see so much and do many things. The football game is literally at the end of an 8 day trip. We did a lot. The game starts at 6 pm local time. There was a pep rally the day before. A welcome party at Guinness Storehouse. A whiskey tour experience in Scotland. Went to St Andrews for a few hours. Toured castles in both Scotland and Ireland. The football game was at the end and we had done pretty much everything we wanted to. It did not take away from the experience of a foreign country. Ate fantastic food. There is a part of Dublin that was decked out in Nebraska colors and a part of Dublin in Northwestern colors so it was cool to see them embrace the college football atmosphere.

I would prefer a game in Hawaii, but will never happen now. They don't have a stadium worthy of a big time program going there.
