What a waste
American football is not overly popular in Ireland, and going through the expense and effort of bringing a team there to play a game there that could be played here seems unnecessary. If you are going have a desirable matchup involving LSU just play it in the US where you can give greater access to fans. Attending a game overseas is not exactly an affordable trip for most. And to be honest, if I'm traveling to Ireland I probably don't want to spend 4-5 hours attending an event I can, and have, attended here in the US. I'd rather do other things in Ireland.
This is one of those ideas that sounds good in theory, but really isn't that great in reality.

Are there any Irish left over there? The Muslims have taken over and I'm very sure they aren't fans of American football
I’m sure some drunk coonasses or rednecks won’t say or do anything obnoxious

Maybe he can win an opener if the game is played out of the country. See if Southern is available.

Doesn't get me too excited. I'm not a big overseas guy.
I'm with Shaq, when they asked him how Greece was and the Parthenon in his early 20s.
I enjoyed it, but I really can't remember all the clubs we went to.

Can see this happening in reverse: several yrs ago a few Irish lads came to N.O. /The French Quarter to see N.Dame play in a Sugar Bowl game. At first, 8 days, then 9, then 10, then 12 days went by. Kept pushing their departure date back, then again,& then again, again, etc etc. Family back home finally got the La. State Police track them down. Realizing they were in trouble back home, they had planned to stay thru Mardi Gras, early that year, kind of a "frickit moment"....Couple yrs later, a few Green Bay Packer fans pulled the same stunt.

I hope so. My ex gf is from Nebraska and I went with her to Ireland for that trip. It was an amazing experience. That travel agency offers various different packages. We did Scotland for a few days. We stayed in Edinburgh mostly and traveled to St Andrews for a day and also visited Falkland Palace. In Edinburgh they have the Royal Military Tattoo going on which was a very cool performance. We did a Scotch Whiskey Experience tour which I highly recommend to anyone going to Edinburgh.
Then we stayed in Dublin the final 3 days. Toured St Patrick Cathedral. There is a pep rally at Merrion Square Park and a welcome party at Guinness Storehouse. Did a whiskey cocktail making class at Jameson distillery.
The hotels at both locations were great. Had A/C but the weather was very comfortable. I would def go on this trip if LSU was involved.
The stadium is very nice. Of course they gave away free beer and food bc the WiFi was down and they have accept card payments. That was fun too.

Somehow my other school Iowa State is playing Kansas State in Dublin in 2025. I can’t wait to go.

Someone needs to let Coach know that he’s not at Notre Dame and they don’t give a frick about football in Ireland unless it involves leprechauns.

Best advice I can give, If you ever travel to Ireland don't spend time experiencing things you could experience back home.

As long as it takes the place of an away game and not a home game.

Can we start winning a couple of openers here in America before we travel to Lucky Charms Land?

Would lose a home game seems. Not worth it. Especially for a conference matchup which it seems these other games over there are
