Americans seem to be the only ones without a hand in their own elections.
Not enough standing for that either it seems.

This is why United States must return to hand Marked paper ballots. The more complex something is the easier it is to cheat. There is no other Way to ensure an honest and fair election other than paper ballots.

Holy overreaction.
And have you heard of the CHIPS act your president signed? You probably should read up on it if you haven't.

Overreaction? The law says: This act mandates that electronic voting systems be sourced, manufactured, and assembled in the United States.

I thought no one was above the law?

It’s a bad look, and should have been widely known.
But…. Is there an implication that these chips are susceptible to changing vote outcomes? Or maybe just that the possibility exists and we don’t know?

Right now, the general public doesn't know what we don't know.
It's not just the mobos and the CPUs. There's the various modems, network ports and the chip architecture that are all susceptible to various backdoors.

There is no such thing short of a preemptive nuclear strike on Beijing that would be an overreaction to the level of meddling they have employed with respect to infiltrating what should be the most sacred and trusted institution in our Republic: our voting systems.

My company had to replace every single surveillance camera across the whole enterprise after NDAA Section 889 came out. The feds said all these Chinese components are bigly bad, will hack your network, etc. Keep them if you want, at your own risk, but any government work/contracts you have will cease to be.
But they are OK in our voting machines apparently.....

Yeah, the security side of the company that I used to work for had to make some major changes when Hikvision was put on the no-no list.
