Recorded 32mph winds in des allemands about 15 min ago. Rain was dumping pretty good.

I don't think they will extend the current tor warning, but I'd be ready for one if I were between Kenner and Waggaman.

In case anyone is wondering how many outages per zip code for Entergy. The first two are Hammond and the '705xx' are Lafayette area. I stopped at 97 since list was very long. rest of it is on Entergy Outage web page.

Bonnet Carre feels like a damn tornado came through. I got a tornado warning and winds were out the west pushing my truck right then everyone slowed and next thing I know winds are coming from the east

CHARLES...ORLEANS...JEFFERSON...NORTHEASTERN LAFOURCHE AND
NORTHWESTERN PLAQUEMINES PARISHES...

At 1128 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near St. Rose to 10 miles southeast of Bayou Gauche,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
New Orleans, Metairie, Hahnville, Laplace, Marrero, Chalmette,
Avondale, Harvey, East New Orleans, Timberlane, Belle Chasse,
Reserve, Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan, Westwego, Lockport, Jean
Lafitte, Mathews, and Montz.


This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 205 and 256.
Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 14.
Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 11.
Interstate 510 between mile markers 1 and 3.
Interstate 610 between mile markers 1 and 4.
