Shootings would be frequent.
I'm not entirely convinced of that, but that's not the issue.
Do you agree that it should be up to airlines, and not the government?

I thought y’all were crazy about allowing violent criminals to have have firearms, but allowing everyone on an airplane to carry is insanity.
Would you fly on an airliner knowing most people were armed?
I’m not being a pilot or a passenger on that plane.
frick that.

No fricking way.
I don’t trust the vast majority of people to act rationally or lawfully on an airplane.

I don't fly anymore, but I've been on airplanes and helicopters numerous times where every single person onboard was armed.

...and it might very well be the case that there wouldn't be a single airline that would allow it.
My only point is that it shouldn't be up to the government.

I would gladly fly an airplane full of armed Marines, but not the general public.
My dad was an air traffic controller and my brother was a search and rescue swimmer in the Corps.

No one would want to fly on them or work for them.
If you think people have anxiety now flying, throw that fear in the mix.

Sounds like the market would sort shite out in short order.

Okay, I’d gladly fly an airplane full of armed Marines if their weapons were unloaded.
Maybe a couple of MP’s with live rounds.

Why does the government need to ban guns on airplanes?
It wasn't illegal until 1961.

Was he discharged under medical/mental issues? I don’t remember.

Lots of things about guns have changed. I used to bring my shotgun to high school in my truck after going duck hunting in the morning in the 80’s.
I’d be in prison now for that.
The world has gone mad. We have a serious mental health crisis in this country.

There is nothing preventing the airlines from banning guns on their planes...

How are Americans not fed the fk up having to pay big brother for permission to exercise your rights? How are people so short sided to not see how easily this can be abused. Plus, the judicial system is all about the money so fk that.

There’s a reason so many nonviolent amd victimless crimes were upgraded to felonies.
What easier way to unarm citizens.
