Why the current laws (like S.O. Registry laws) do nothing to increase security and safety. Those cons that want a gun are going to have one no matter what the law says.
This gets at the heart of why it's unlikely that background checks will ever be eliminated. Too many people think the answer to laws that don't work is more laws that don't work.
I mean frick, we have self-professed Second Amendment supporters here who champion background checks, red flag laws, and letting an agency create law.

This is wrong too. They should get both back.

Second Amendment seems pretty clear to me.
Sorry you want to modify things to meet your sensibilities.

Indeed they are.

Explain yourself.
Why does someone who drives drunk be allowed to continue driving? Own a car? Etc?
Why does someone who commits fraud be allowed to even have a bank account? A credit card?
You’re a simpleton who is parroting deep state talking points.
The 2nd Amendment SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED….no qualifiers.

You need to freshen up your understanding of social contracts. Violations of them empowers society and government to remove access to civil and natural rights. Serving time does not grant felons unconditional rights upon release. I'd like you to show me in the 2nd amendment or elsewhere in the bill of rights where it does. If you do then I reserve the right to change my mind. Until then take your stupid sarcasm and your own sensibilities elsewhere.

The Constitution is NOT a social contract.
It sets out what rights given to man by GOD should not be taken away by MAN.
The Constitution was gutted post-War of Northern Aggression and sadly we are now having these conversations.
Those in control never want to lose control…hence 2A restrictions and other bogus restrictions on Americans convicted of felonies/misd. domestic violence:
All kabuki theater.

Explain yourself.
A person who commits a violent crime has displayed the will to injure other law abiding citizens. They have both proven to not be responsible to legally have a firearm just as they have broken the social contract.

After multiple infractions they aren't

They do with shitty credit and high interest rates, thus penalties for their past crimes. The real question is should they be allowed to manage a hedge fund, not have a bank account.
Should a pharmacist who gets busted selling oxy on the side be allowed to be a pharmacist upon release from jail?

See my above post. We are not speaking of law abiding citizens protected by the Constitution. We are speaking of criminals who have broken the social contract, thus their admittance back into said contract is not unconditional. If you want to argue that they OUGHT to be, then that is a fair argument to be had. If you are saying they automatically are, then you are wrong. The moment anyone is put in jail is the moment that person's rights are removed. Isn't freedom guaranteed by the Bill of Rights? How are we able to imprison them?

Oh how did I miss this juicy one.
Is this the best you got?

Typical cuckeye. Cherry pick one part of a statement, respond to that while completely ignoring the qualifying portion of that statement that followed.

It's the relevant part, sport. I'm ensuring that we're clear on the point being made. Don't be a bitch about it.

Yes it is. Are you saying that the Constitution extends its protection to illegal aliens?

Cuckeye, the relevant part is to whom does the second amendment protections extend to. Are you saying prisoners in jail have the right to bear arms? They are protected by the second amendment, because the only relevant part is...

Don't set the hook to soon, let him swallow it.

Correct. The constitution is to protect citizens.

What an idiotic question.
You ought to spend some time working this out. Then, when you've figured out why it's fricking retarded, come back and explain it so we can make sure you get it.
