I doubt they are close, the urban center of Dublin is still of the mindset they will increase their soccer team’s talent.
Like any big city there are some that are pissed. The more out of Dublin you get the more pissed they are.
Hilariously their own news was reporting that the government couldn’t house 1500 migrants as they had no housing available.

This is what happens when you let the government disarm you for your protection.

Oh father why are you so sad on this bright Easter morn'
When Irish men are proud and glad of the land where they were born
Son I see in memories view of far-off distant days
When being just a lad like you I joined the IRA
Where are the lads who stood with me when history was made
Oh Ghrá Mo Chroí, I long to see the boys of the old brigade
From hills and farms the call to arms was heard by one and all
And from the glen came brave young men to answer Ireland's call
It was long ago we faced the foe, the old brigade and me
And by my side they fought and died that Ireland might be free
Where are the lads who stood with me when history was made
Oh Ghrá Mo Chroí, I long to see the boys of the old brigade
