So sad. Prayers for the family.
Back in the early 70s I had 20 hours toward my PPL and a mere 11 solo when my finance told me it was either flying or her.
It was an easy decision. I dug flying but I think I wasn’t really cut out for it. Was not great at landings because I hated using flaps. Lol. A wise decision as well.
My best friend took lessons with me. Four years later he flew into a thunderstorm near Beaumont, killing himself and three others.
I swore off riding in private planes smaller than a King Air.

Thats surprising.. i feel like most chicks dig planes, and guys who know how to fly planes.. Even more surprising would be if yall are still together fifty years later .. Did yall have a good run at least ?

My wife gave me that ultimatum over my motorcycle. Was a good run while it lasted but wasn't going to give up riding.
