re: Just spent 5 days in the hospital

I got sent to the ER about two weeks ago (the ride in the bus would have cost me twice what treatment did.) I had Jersey Mike's I'd picked up just prior, hadn't eaten all day, brought it in with me with the expectation I'd be staying overnight. I got permission to eat around 4. Ativan is oddly pretty good.

I assume everyone has had kids, and dealt with hospital food with their wives. Food from the regular world is important for morale. The #7 was perfect.

It makes me feel better that I was only stuck in the ER for 4 ish hours. It's odd. I triggered the ER to send me straight to EKG with no wait with my symptoms, but then they scheduled me for a cariologist in September. Guess it wasn't that important (rescheduled with one that was actually in network available last week.)
