Yes, but when he was initially confronted by the cops.... He didn't stop and explain. He continued which resulted in this.

East Lake would look really good hosting the PGA Championship once they get done renovating it later this year.

Again, they had let other golfers and caddies through the blockage at that point. Dude from all accounts was just following the other golfers being let through.
ETA: It’s now being said the cop was in plain clothes, so he likely didn’t even know it was a cop.

It’s been raining here most of the night and pretty steady at this point. Local weather is showing it won’t clear out until about 10:00 pm tonight.
