Pretty sure it’s a playoff .. 5 players count best four per hole

Only one golfer has birdied 18 today across all teams.

The number one for Houston played in the masters this year.

He did finish birdie-birdie yesterday on 17 and 18, so it’s hold on time.

I believe the Houston golfer left has to birdie to tie.

You should see the women. Women's college golf is brutally slow. I've tried to watch and I just can't, it's insane.

I was thinking the longer it took it had to be a bogey. That was like a 30 minute hole

Bogey! LSU advances.

Don't really keep up with LSU Golf, but was this an off couple of days for the team, or are they expected to not make the cut at Nationals (Top 15)?

Barely, but we’ll take it. Congrats to LSU Golf for making it to national championship tournament in Cali.

Were they playing for the tips? Isn’t that 7700 yards? No way they could shoot that low from there.

Nationally they are ranked I want to say 40th. So being one of the last few out of regionals would have been about where they would have stood all year.

Solid accomplishment though.

A few holes were tipped out but most were up one box. Played 7400 according to the scorecard

Back tees do not equal tips. The back 2 feet of the back teebox is the tips. Please don’t be a guy that calls back tees “the tips”.

Auburn shot -20. Not for the tournament, just today. One day -20.

That's what 99% of people do. Playing the backs is playing the tips. If the course is 7000 from the back tee boxes, you'd be playing it at a yardage that isn't even on the score card since it's typically measured from the middle of the tee box.

By your standard, playing the tips would essentially never happen since you're allowed two clubs from the stake. So teeing off from the back 2 feet of the back tee box would be a penalty stroke if the stakes are in the front or middle of an average sized box.
