The fact that we know the word “cornucopia” when it seems to have absolutely no use in modern language probably stems from us learning about it at a young age. It’s not hugely surprising to me that we might associate a pile of fruit on an underwear logo with the cornucopia we learned about so long ago and mix them together in our minds. Who spends a lot of time examining the logo on our underwear tags?

Mandela effect is so stupid.

Incredibly stupid and narcissist. People can't just admit they're wrong so there must be a name for it.

Also the whole “Fruit Loops” vs “Froot Loops”

I don't ever remember it being spelled "fruit"
I always remember "froot" with the cereal loops making the 2 O's

Not at all. I was commenting on how many resources were wasted trying to educate you and without success.

Can't spell or use words correctly is a terrible way to go through life. Forget C Suite, you're cut out for menial labor.

Trying to make such a menial thing a big deal, for what purpose? I feel for your wife and loved ones having to deal with your arse every day.

There’s literally pictures of the label with the cornucopia on old worn out shirts and old packaging.

Does anyone who were kids in the 90s remember there being a cornucopia

No

As a kid the cornucopia was associated with autumn food products: corn, pumpkin, onions, squash, other veggies

The fruit on the clothing package is mainly summer fruits. It would have been antithetical to the messaging to attempt to associate the cornucopia with only fruits

There never was a cornucopia. My entire side of my moms family, including my sister and cousins all worked for the Fruit of the Loom factory in Crowley. So, needless to say, I was around it a lot as a kid.

I believe people are remembering those Thanksgiving color sheets with the cornucopia that we had to color back in the day and confusing it with the logo.
