I think Springsteen gets a little too much hate. He’s not the greatest thing ever but he has put out some amazing music. Nebraska is an outstanding album as is Darkness of on the Edge Town. Also a great live performer. Go watch or listen to one of his live shows from the 78 or 80-81 tour.

Agree with this. This board is really negative on Springsteen and I don't know why.

I wouldn't have him as my GOAT, but he's been a fantastic live performer for 50 years, has great lyrical ability and adjusted his sound successfully several times. His core sound isn't necessarily my favorite (which is why I don't put him at my top) but he's a legend for a reason.
