I’ve always heard the Generac whole house generators are not what they’re all cracked up to be but I believe the problem is people not maintaining them properly.

I’ve got a portable Generac 10k with an interlock kit on my panel. Plug and go and for the two weeks every ten years I need it, it works just fine. I can run everything in the house except the central AC, just not all at once.
