re: Will Bear Jones be back at LSU next year?

Herring has to work on a 3rd pitch and prove he can get through a lineup 3 times if he wants to show he can be a starter and improve his draft stock. If he doesn't do that then he is what he is at this point. He can be, and is, a really good college pitcher with what he has now but with only 2 pitches and not having upper 90s velo, I don't think he gets very far in the minors without gaining some type of 3rd pitch.
