I don’t know why people still don’t get that the reason the Astros were “let off easy” is because the majority of teams were doing the same shite around that time including the darling Red Sox and Yankees. No way MLB was going to blow the whole thing up so the Astros got crucified by the media, fired their coach and GM, and lost 2 1st rounders. 4 players remain from that 2017 roster and 2 are pitchers. It’s time to let it go

We’ve been over this before. They did nothing that the rest of the league, including the next year’s WS winners, weren’t already doing. The Commissioner could smack them with the big sentence and watch as they burned the entire league down, or hit them with a lesser sentence and fix this internally.

Also, the reason nothing happened to the players is that they were offered immunity in exchange for them spilling the beans on the whole thing.
If the players weren’t offered immunity, they wouldn’t have said anything and who knows if anything would have come of it.
So the whole reason we know everything we do is specifically because the players were given immunity.

I didn’t justify the Astros doing anything. I simply explained the reason why MLB didn’t suspend/ban all the players… because other players/teams were doing the same thing

Exactly. If there had been no immunity it just would have been the story of a disgruntled rat and completely unconfirmed. Just a rumor.

New York got shut down by Blanco last week and probably cried to MLB and the Athletics about it. Salty tears from the Yankees because they couldn't complete the regular season sweep.
