I honestly don't see why not...he is ready to play sec football right now imo

As good as he is, he’s definitely not ready as a HS sophomore right now
I probably wouldn’t advise a defensive lineman to reclassify, but whatever, still want him.

The "why not" is because he loses a year of development. Sure he may be physically ready but once he goes to college his clock starts. He loses a year to get better mentally or wit technique or just mature emotionally. This kid could very much be the exception to the rule but I can't think of anyone that reclassified and excelled. Maybe yall can give me some examples to prove me wrong but it seems like the guys that reclassify struggle/redshirt as freshman and never amount to as much as their recruiting hype touted them to be.
