Nah but nice attempt, it sucked, as usual.
Anyway, anyone else with an actual rational thought?

Stay at home moms = religious zealotry
What a sad place we are in as a culture

What Butker was trying to convey to the young women graduates is to not let anyone tell you that you're not successful or vitally important to the fabric of society by making a decision to be a homemaker vs chasing and climbing the corporate ladder in the corporate rat race

Should the women who can’t conceive still be homemakers?

I mean, isn't that the most "outlandish" thing he said? That seems to be the biggest and most controversial talking point. Or is also disagreeing with euthanasia "zealotry?" That's nuts.
It's a bit far to say any of those opinions are zealotry. We need to tone down the reaction to something like this, when we don't go so far in definition with minor things.
You're playing right into the hands of people who want to destroy the nuclear family, by aligning with them that this is some "zealotry."
Do you disagree with him? Sure. Is it zealotry? Really?

Since you used the word euthanasia I’m assuming you read the entire quoted portion - did you see any other terms that stood out? Maybe didn’t belong?
Terms that would only be there if guided by an insane amount of devotion to a spiritual ideology?

Is it REALLY insane, you are using that word, that if you believe life starts at conception, then throwing away embryos or editing genes is not a good thing?
Again, you can disagree but don't be a purple Haired Karen who thinks Butker supports the Handmaid's Tale. It's not that crazy of a belief.
Or that a womb should not be bought or sold, and that created life is special?
It's a bit strong of a reaction to call him a zealot. He's only laying out the actual beliefs.

Brother you are agreeing with a football kicker who compared IVF to euthanasia, you have no moral or intellectual high ground here

He, nor I,compared the two to each other. And you are straight up dodging the reasoning and logic to use insults, reference zealotry, etc.
I'm just saying, it's best, even if you disagree,to not so vastly mischaracterize what he said. He basically said, protect life, focus on family, be a good person focused on the right things. You should want people to do that, regardless of religion.

Bull. shite.
And you know it’s bullshite, which is why you chose the most agressive/offensive of those 4 terms he grouped together to use in your initial rebuttal.

What’s really wild is that I’m not the one mischaracterizing what he said
I’m saying exactly what he said
You’re trying to twist it to make it not what he said
I wonder why that is

Yeah that's not a comparison.
He's saying a bunch of things come from the very broad term of disorder. All disorder means is not in alignment with God's will. It's a huge term that covers a lot of ground.
It's like saying gorilla's and sharks and rats are animals. I'm not directly comparing them, I'm just bucketing them at a very high level.
If you want to call that a comparison, sure, but the he was making was not to directly say ivf and euthanasia are the exact same thing, driven by the exact same disorder. They aren't, and that's not his claim.

You are carrying a lot of water interpreting this for him

I don’t know if youve ever used the word like and then said a bunch of words afterwards and then tied them to a central theme, but that’s literally what a comparison is.

driven by the exact same disorder.
He only mentioned one pervasiveness of disorder, man

Also - this is all a long drive away from your original post “stay at home moms = religious zealotry” - which I think you can admit was a wild “mischaracterization” of butker’s intial quotes, as I was clearly referring to his other bat shite statement.

Disorder isn't a single thing like your are using it though, it's more akin to a category.

The rest of it only “triggers” you - or in your case, gets your weird little rocks off - if you listen to famous people, professional athletes, or religious zealots to form your opinions. (This fella is all three.)
I mean you called him a religious zealot and I went straight to the most controversial thing he said. If what he said about women is not "zealotry", then I'm sorry I assumed so.
