Nothing you quoted allows for the sterile couple to morally have sex. They cannot procreate. They cannot morally have sex.
BOTH unitive AND procreative. It’s NOT unitive OR procreative.

It is unitive and if they are open to life - you never know - it could end up being procreative. Do you understand that even being considered sterile for men is just because someone has below some level of sperm. And there are cases where they still create life? And there are probably tens of millions of men throughout history who probably conceived while being "sterile." You use the word like it means they can't. All it actually means is that it is unlikely.
But do you know what is also a sin? A vasectomy.

Man failed god’s test so now animals get cancer? Damn. Tough break for those other creatures created by god. Never had a chance.

I notice you skipped my post about a woman who received a hysterectomy as part of ovarian cancer treatment. It is biologically impossible for her to procreate. She must live the rest of her life celibate.

Animals are just here for our entertainment/work/consumption, they ain't making it to heaven anyway, God doesn't care about them.

Did he actually say get back in the kitchen?

Freauxzen is right; sterile couples can still have sex and it not be sinful. The act of sex itself (without any interference from the participants) is unitive and procreative. Otherwise, couples that are unsuccessfully trying to conceive would be sinning. Hell it would mean that you have to stop having sex after menopause or a hysterectomy because it's no longer procreative. None of that is the case.
From Humanae Vitae:
That excerpt is also where the church gets its recommendation for natural family planning as a form of birth control. You aren't sinning by having sex during the infertile times of the month. You're using the design God naturally gave you.
From Humanae Vitae:
quote:
It [sexual activity] does not, moreover, cease to be legitimate even when, for reasons independent of their will, it is foreseen to be infertile. For its natural adaptation to the expression and strengthening of the union of husband and wife is not thereby suppressed. The fact is, as experience shows, that new life is not the result of each and every act of sexual intercourse. God has wisely ordered laws of nature and the incidence of fertility in such a way that successive births are already naturally spaced through the inherent operation of these laws. The Church, nevertheless, in urging men to the observance of the precepts of the natural law, which it interprets by its constant doctrine, teaches that each and every marital act must of necessity retain its intrinsic relationship to the procreation of human life. (12)

I bet no one in this thread is telling Butker to shut up and stick to football…you know…like the rest of you sheep do to other athletes with bullshite BLM political views.
But that’s none of my business. Just wanted to point out the hypocrisy

One was invited by a Catholic university to speak on going out into the world as a Catholic. The others made political statements before and during a sports game. If you can't see how those 2 situations might be different, you're "(D)ifferent".

Then he needed to do that instead of taking the opportunity to come off as a closeted, religious imbecile that time traveled from the 1950s. Dude is a fricking whack job
If you can’t see that then you’re a (R)etard

Congrats on just finding the thread and regurgitating the same dumb arguments. Why don't you just go back through. Or maybe don't

God's will IS NOT to give people cancer. The two situations are not related. So stopping cancer, where it is not "an act" of a being or of God, is fine.
Who are we to interfere with your god's will?
