Mine was actually a loss, my sis was a cheerleader and we had box seats, actual box with 4 folding chairs, kids were allowed to run the fence and get tear away jerseys from the managers. It was #1 USC and LSU held the lead into the final minutes. USC scored with future Heisman Charles White scored and slid into the chain link fence and I slapped him on the helmet. I was a little kid and I was so excited. Talked about it for years but at the time had no idea how historical that moment was or how devastating the loss was for LSU.

79 USC.
Never have experienced anything like it at a sporting event since. Almost painfully loud without ANY break for 3 hours.

Yep ! Been to almost all of them and the ‘79 LSU-USC game was a wopper ! Even though we lost in the last few minutes. Loudest/most exciting game I’ve ever been to in Tiger Stadium. USC had arguably the most talented team in history that year- just check out who played for them that year !

Home game...my pops took me to the 1972 game against Ole Miss. Tigers won a 17-16 thriller on the last play. We also did the unofficial mandatory stop at Airline Motors before going to the game.
Road game (sorta)...1987 vs, Tulane at the Superdome. Tigers win a 41-36 thriller. Both Terrance Jones of Tulane and Tommy Hodson had exceptional games.
Road game...1984 at USC. Tigers gained a measure of revenge for the 1979 debacle with an easy 23-3 win. I had just arrived at nearby Edwards AFB after a year in Korea, so it was a nice return stateside.

LSU vs Florida 2007
After sitting on the edge of my seat in the South End Zone, with 1:09 left on the clock, I finally get to see Hester score right in front of me....Everyone went absolutely WILD !!!!!!

2022 LSU Bama game. My 6 year old son was able to rush the field with my wife and I. Just absolutely incredible game and environment.

Allow me five of em:
1) 2003 National Championship
2) 2020 National Championship
3) 2007 Florida
4) 1997 Florida
5) 2001 Tennessee (ATL)
*I had a ticket to the KY game (Bluegrass Miracle) but couldn't go as my youngest had RSV and was only 2 weeks old. Oh, to have been at that one!

There are sooo many… IMO the best ever game in tiger stadium was the 2007 FLA game…. But others may have a different choice.
